But the darkness was not comforting but strange and scary...the sun is the truth and harsh reality of his deeds (that he is uncomfortable with)and the subway is hmmmm...the subway is looking into a mirror, being horrified at the stranger there then seeing familiarity and finding some kind of respite.Jaquanda Raehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08708548539660570655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2392618246677512908.post-5063169231523043952008-09-05T12:59:00.000+01:002008-09-05T12:59:00.000+01:00Very very true!Subway stations, tram stations are ...Very very true!
Subway stations, tram stations are somewhat frightening, especially at night or dawn. I could tell a lot about odd fellows hanging around there; I saw a lot when I worked in a night shift. I dare say Budapest's outer disctricts are desolated and unfriendly areas, not to mention they are infamous for their poor public safety. Grey stone walls, barbed wires, tall chimneys and graffities everywhere, and you cannot see a passer-by (except for the strange ones).

As for the previous past, I wanted to write that a medieval castle is really scary, but a desolated subway station can be equal creepy.

Congratulations on your ideas! Especially Poland and this backwater corner of France I was stuck in briefly.

I also wrote about the London underground being forgotten and then rediscovered.

It's a lot like the way you describe this abandoned station.bhahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00865572337931961758noreply@blogger.com
